Rewilding Retreats

Rest. Reconnect. Rewild.

Rest. Reconnect. Rewild.

Rooted in seasonal rhythms and sensory experience, our retreats are crafted to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the land. From scent and sound journeys to forest bathing, sauna and cold immersion, and grounding meditative practices, each retreat offers space to reset and realign.

Emma brings a background in somatic work, sound healing, and ritual practice. Joanne draws from years of experience in energy work, intuitive healing, and nervous system support.

These retreats are an invitation to remember your wildness, reclaim your stillness, and return home to your body: in a space that honours the sensations of nature and soul.

Emma

Emma – Hart & Soul Yoga / Zen Bear / True Nature Retreats

London born, Sheffield bred and now Bangor based, Emma Hart is a yoga teacher, designer, and creative behind Hart & Soul Yoga and Zen Bear; an eco-conscious yoga brand inspired by her love for nature.

She co-hosts True Nature Retreats on the North Coast of Ireland, guiding people back to their innate sense of joy, ease, and connection through movement, stillness, and time outdoors. Emma’s work blends yoga, sauna rituals, and sound experiences to support embodied rest and reconnection. She produces music, sings and co-hosts Sacred Sounds with her partner offering immersive sonic journeys rooted in breath and presence.

With a warm, inclusive approach, Emma creates space for people to feel nourished, curious, and undeniably present, wherever they are on their path.

Joanne

Joanne – Founder of Barefoot Body & Soul

Canadian-born and Belfast-raised, Joanne has been supporting women for over 20 years through one-on-one work and in the last 9 years through the practice of Vinyasa Yoga. As the founder of Barefoot Body & Soul, a wellbeing and yoga studio nestled between South and East Belfast, she offers a compassionate space for people to reconnect with themselves.

With a deep belief in the power of presence and community, Joanne guides others home to themselves through movement, breath, and stillness - tools she uses daily in her own life.

Collectively, Joanne and Emma bring over 30 years of combined experience across wellbeing, coaching, somatic practice, energy work, and creative fields.

Their paths have been shaped by a shared commitment to holding space for rest, for reconnection, for returning to what matters. Through Rewilding Retreats, they weave their diverse skills and deep friendship into immersive, sensory-led experiences designed to nourish the body, calm the nervous system, and awaken the spirit.

At the heart of their work is a belief in the quiet power of nature, presence, and ritual. Rewilding is their invitation to step away from the noise, soften into your surroundings, and remember what it means to feel truly alive, grounded, and human.

Whether it’s through forest bathing, sound journeys, restorative movement, or deep rest, each retreat offers a space to slow down and reconnectwith yourself, with the land, and with a like-minded community.

Next Retreat: June 28th 2025, Quarries Farm

The day begins slowly - with grounding practices that ease you into presence. You’ll arrive into your body and breath, and the space around you, supported by mindful intention.

From there, we gather for nourishing food and herbal teas, allowing time to land, connect, and settle into the natural pace of the day.

Midway, we move into an energising cycle of sauna and cold plunge, awakening the senses, revitalising the nervous system, and deepening your connection to the elements.

In the afternoon, we journey into sound and movement through a sacred vinyasa flow, accompanied by live ambient sounds by producer Optmst. This dynamic, heart-led session weaves yoga, rhythm, and deep listening into one flowing experience.

The day closes with a second meal and spacious time for integration. There’s room throughout for both movement and stillness, for quiet reflection and active manifestation.

We hold space for whatever arises, offering a container that is nurturing, expansive, and rooted in the belief that the wild is always within you.
